Tape Ark, a rapidly expanding Perth-based technology start-up today announced the appointment of Kyle Evans as Director of Sales.
Evans, an industry veteran with more than 15 year’s sales and commercial management experience in Resources, Energy and Information Technology sectors, has previously held senior roles with market leaders including Swire Oilfield Services, NearMap, GeoImage and Fugro.
Evans will lead and expand the business development team to drive Tape Ark’s growth through the engagement of corporate clients, government organisations and key vendors within the technology sector.
Tape Ark Founder and Chief Executive Officer Guy Holmes said in a statement: “Kyle’s appointment to this newly created executive role is paramount to the successful development and management of Tape Ark’s new clients as they come on board. Since Tape Ark’s launch earlier this year the company has gone from strength to strength receiving significant enquiries from a diverse range of sectors including mining, telecommunications, media and finance. Tape Ark is helping customers who have become increasingly frustrated with paying offsite data storage costs whilst maintaining their legacy backup infrastructure and seeing little value on their investment.
