Tape Ark Founder and CEO Guy Holmes to Present at Amazon Web Services User Group

Guy's entrepreneurial journey began in 2003, but the rise of AWS after its relaunch in 2006 planted a unique idea in his head that lead to the creation of Tape Ark.

Tape Ark brings offsite, archive tape data management into the 21st century by providing high-volume migration from tape media directly to the cloud.  It is an innovative solution which embraces digital and virtual data storage technologies and re-imagines the way we approach physical offsite data storage.

Drawing inspiration from the war between Blockbuster and Netflix, many years of personal and professional experience, as well as his past adventures, Guy will provide a high-level overview on how he started his business, the AWS tools he is using and the battle that still lies ahead.

Guy will be presenting at the innovation center at Flux in Perth on August 22 at 5:30pm.
