Low-density and specialist media capability

Some seismic collections include older, specialist or low-density tape formats that require experienced handling, appropriate hardware and an understanding of the original data structures.

Moveout can provide specialist support for these collections, including media handling, recovery, technical investigation and data quality control.

Where required, a project can be performed at Moveout’s UK facility or supported remotely through another Alliance location.

Compliance and regulatory reporting

Subsurface data is frequently subject to government reporting, licence, retention and relinquishment obligations.

Meeting these requirements demands an understanding of both the data and the applicable submission standards. Moveout helps customers identify, prepare, validate and deliver geoscience information required for regulatory compliance.

Within the Cloud First Alliance, Moveout is the technical authority for seismic-data conditioning, processing and management.

The combined operating model is:

  • Tape Ark leads industrial-scale media ingest, automation, logistics and cloud migration.
  • Moveout leads seismic analysis, conditioning and quality control using specialist expertise and Metaseis.
  • Osokey provides browser-based subsurface visualisation and collaboration.

Projects may be performed at Moveout’s UK facility, Tape Ark facilities or customer-approved locations. The delivery location is selected according to logistics, efficiency, technical requirements, data sovereignty and customer preference.

Moveout can also license Metaseis independently for deployment within customer environments, with Tape Ark integration available where required.
